Ok, so I've decided I should test out the pic thing before I get overseas, so here goes....

Ok, looks like I've worked it out! Lol turned out to be quite easy, I feel like a loser now. Now just gotta look into this Flickr business. One step at a time!

Woohoo!! As of this morning, my tickets are officially paid for, so July 15th is locked in Eddie. Ooh exciting stuff :-)

My visa however is still not! I still haven't applied! I think I'm gonna have to order my Gran's birth certificate from Ireland and I need her details which my dad hasn't yet provided! So, I'm thinking tonight I'm gonna have to give him a kick up the behind.

I'm actually a bit stressed bout this whole visa thing, what if they reject me??? I would die!! Everyone says that they'll only reject you if you have a criminal record, but surely some ppl get rejected for no reason? Cos otherwise why bother?? Imagine if there was just someone sitting in an office pulling out random applications, and stamping "Rejected" on them. Mine would so be one of those, I'm quite unlucky!

Anyhoo, I'm at work at the moment, but tonight if I get a chance I'm going to experiment with this whole putting photos on the blog thing. Lets see how techno clever I am....

Hmmm, the worst thing about organising things so early is that you have to wait so long. OK, so 4 months really isn't that early to organise gallivanting around the world, but it is for me! I hate waiting. It makes everything else I do seem so boring and tedious. Especially work. So over it. And I'm so over stupid ppl that don't know what they're doing! I just want it to be July already :-(

On to a more happy topic, I bought a new camera the other day! Yay, i love new things. I know I'm meant to be saving, but it was only $200, and I really did need a new one. My old one was so huge and clunky and took really bad quality photos. So if you think about it, it's actually an investment rather than a dip into the savings. And I'm all about the investments ;-)

So as I am a sad loser with nothing else to do tonight, I've decided to give in to this new blogging obsession I've started and create an online list of everything I still need to do before I go.

• Pay for flights
• Organise Visa
• SAVE, SAVE, SAVE
• Register with agencies (I'm thinking of just temping for a while when I first get there)
• Sort out accommodation
• Get travel insurance
• Set up UK bank account
• Pack
• Maybe let ppl know about this blog so I can get some comments!
  

In The Beginning...

So its happening... I've booked my flight! Its official, on July 15 I'll be flying to London to work and travel. Well, not official official as I've still got to actually pay for the ticket and get my visa, but its practically official. Yay!
I'm really excited about getting away from work cos its been pretty crap lately, all the bitching and everything thats been going on. Cant wait to get away from it, and the stupid baby talking giant! But I'm def going to miss everyone else there!
So at the moment, I'm going through all my stuff and working out what to keep and selling everything else. As everything will have to be stored for at least a year I'm trying to cull everything down so the parentals aren't stuck with a shitload of stuff! God bless ebay! Hopefully all the big stuff sells quickly. Then I'll have to sell my car to help pay off all the debt. Im actually really sad about it, I love my black Gertie, and now I'm selling her off. Its weird how attached you can get to a piece of machinery.
Its not just the car I'll miss. My fam and friends will be missed too (even though most of the fun ones are in London anyway!). I feel bad that I'll be missing my bro's graduation, and also leaving my sis behind. She's going through a weird stage at the moment, but I doubt me staying would help her any.
But despite all this, Im excited about travelling and meeting new people and seeing all these places most people only dream about...
